Overall, the router/ modem combination was easy to install. It did require some modifications on various computer network connections; some computers did not recognize the new router. It also required telephone authorization from the cable company.
A frustrating part of the new device was that the range of the new Netgear router was less than the previous Netgear router; it required the purchase of a WiFi extender (extra $120.). I would have thought that the new item would have surpassed older models in performance. This was not the case.

Everything is terrific on this. Connectivity, wifi broadcasting quality and strength, interface page...
Is change only only one, maybe two things on this product. First, I'd like to have it wall-mountable. I had to drill small holes in the stand and mount it sideways on my wall. Second, I'd like the USB port to be usable with printers as well as external hard drives. No biggie for me. Just would be nice.
